Service Description

A rook piercing is a stylish cartilage piercing located on the uppermost inner ridge of the ear, positioned vertically between the helix and the daith. It is a "vertical" piercing that passes through one thick fold of cartilage, usually adorned with a curved barbell to accommodate swelling. ~A rook piercing typically rates 6–8/10 on the pain scale, described as a sharp, intense pinch and pressure due to passing through thick cartilage. Healing takes 6 to 12 months (sometimes up to 18). Initial throbbing lasts a few days, and it is crucial to avoid sleeping on it to prevent complications. All jewelry is included in the cost. If you are unable to make it to your appointment please call ahead of time. If you do not call ahead to tell us you'll be late and or show up 10 minutes or more to your appointment, you will be considered a no call no show. In this event the deposit is forfeited and would require a $10 walkin fee to still get the piercing. Alternatively an appointment can be rescheduled through the same means as use previously. No children are allowed unless they are getting a piercing and there also is a cat on the premises.
